The Bald Eagle
 
The Bald Eagle is the national bird of United States Of America. I like this bird mainly do to this fact. I deeply respect them also.

The bald eagle the only solely native bird of North America. The adult can get up to one meter tall. The eagle main food is fish, but will eat carrion.
The bald eagle was protected do to the decline of it's population. With special prodjects there numbers climed. They are no longer an endangered spieces.



 
The Northern Cardinal ( Red Bird )
Cardinal are song birds. They live in they are my favorite bird. I like them mainly because they stick out in the snow. I found it conferting to look at the bird feeder and see a bright red Cardinal out there.

The cardinal can get to 8 in. high. The males are much brighter and are the ones most likely to be seen in the summer.
